There's a noise from it that seems to skip the airspace between itself and IV, resonate through his body, and it comes (or something like it, its whole being pulses and something spurts from the end of the tendril, something thick and sweet).
Then it draws the tendril out of IV's mouth, shudders as the edges of its body waver and drip, and says]
